A Prayer

Here we are, another day
our masks in place, shall we pray

Lord you gave this burden to me
I know not why, I cannot see
The darkness you placed in my soul
it keeps me deep in its hole

I hear it said you are so kind
then why does sickness rot my mind

Why is there no peace for me
short of this old hanging tree

Why does life equal pain
why do others reap my gain

I beg of you to set me free
the burden you gave is killing me

– Chas Harold

About you, by you. Bios are terrible. I’m just a guy who occasionally writes what he thinks. If you like it pass it on, if you don’t like it, complain about it then pass it on. But at least do something. This country has become a bunch of whiners that just sit on there butts. “You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.” – Winston Churchill
